Terror Grove Halloween Party to be held 10.28 in Ritz Park
Two South Grand staples, Steve’s Hot Dogs and Terror Tacos are teaming up for the ULTIMATE Halloween Party from 3 to 8 pm on Saturday October 28th in Ritz Park at 3147 South Grand.
The event, called Terror Grove is a family-friendly Halloween celebration featuring:
Feast of Flames Spicy Hot Dog Eating Contest (Register Here!) at 3:00 pm
Vegan Taco Eating Contest (Register Here!) at 3:20 pm
Costume Contests for Dogs, Kids and Humans (with Prizes!) Assemble at 3:45. Approx 4:00 parade.
A Coffin Cocktail Bar by Terror Taco featuring Blood Bag Margaritas - All Night
Halloween Maker Market with goodies by Muerto Morphosis & Minx Monster Metals
Facepainting
Food & Treats by Steve’s Hot Dogs and Terror Tacos
Live Music by Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship, J. Chambers (of New World Spirits Fame) and Ellen Hilton Cook
Costume Contests
As we have done before, we’ll again be hosting our annual costume contest. We’ll have guests parade their costumes at 6:00 pm sharp. Scroll down to see a few of our favorite costumes from years past! No registration is required. Please just be on site and ready to go by 3:45 pm! We’ll have prizes for winners in each category!
Facepainting
Our resident face painters will be on hand to paint custom tattoos and face makeup for adults and kids alike in exchange for your donation to Steve’s Hot Dogs Feed the People program, which provides meals for folks in need in our community.
Margs in a Blood Bag?!
Yep! You read that right. Terror Tacos is setting up their coffin bar for the night, and we’ll have TONS OF festive cocktails between Steve’s and Terror Tacos for this event, including:
Terror Taco Margaritas served in Blood Bags
Reese’d in Pieces - Hot Chocolate + Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey
Resting Witch Face - Kahlua & Pumpkin Pie Liqueur
Caramel Apple Martinis - Butterscotch and Apple Schnapps, Creme de Cacao and Irish Cream
We’ll also have hot chocolates, waters and sodas for the kiddos!
Halloween Eating Contests
Both Steve’s Hot Dogs AND Terror Tacos will have food challenges for the adventurous!
Steve’s is bringing back the EPIC Feast of Flames! How many plain hot dogs with our Brainless Mustard sauce can you down in 10 minutes?!
Terror Tacos will also host a Basic Witch eating contest. How many of their Basic Witch tacos can you smash in 10 minutes?
These contests will kick off our event right at 5:00.
